There are many different ways to animate rectangle shape in After Effects. Some of them are primitive, some – more complicated. One of the most popular is usual rotation, but the rotation can be different.
4-5 days ago when I was making another logo animation for my customer, I faced with the next problem: one of the part of logo was a square and I wanted to make it roll as if the ground would have been under him. Before this moment I have never thought about such animation.
First of all I thought about rotation and I knew that the secret lies in this. I quickly understood how I can make it. It is pretty easy and the result seems very interesting I think. Today I will explain it for you in my new After Effects tutorial:
After Effects template for tutorial: Rectangle shape
