Sometimes I make tutorials which evoke me a feeling of nostalgia. I like to create such stuff, for example here my tutorial about knitting animation that reminded me about my grandmother.
In this After Effects tutorial we will try to make a VHS effect. Now I’m 26 years old and I remember very well what is VHS. I have some videos from my childhood on VHS cassets right now but I don’t have any appropriate equipment. I think that this effect looks very interesting, by the way it is trendy again. It is not a usual effect of old movie or bad tv. VHS effect has it’s own attributes, for example aberration, interlace effect, high sharpness, color correction.
